THE GREEN TRUNK, functions as a Home Performance (with Energy Star) Contractor, audits a building as an integrated whole, identifies, and prioritizes energy "problems". THE GREEN TRUNK is trained and equipped to find and fix these "problems" at the source WITHOUT PARALYZING BUDGETS. We use a scientific approach.
As a certified (Energy Star and RESNET) H.E.R.S. rater THE GREEN TRUNK analyzes and rates new homes for buyers (Energy Star & Energy Efficient Mortgages) and for builders (tax credits) from the planning stage to final completion and beyond.
A builder's advantage in using THE GREEN TRUNK is that THE GREEN TRUNK is able to verify construction for both the LEED for Homes program and the NAHB Green Buildings program.
In Manufacturing, Chapala Consulting (Div. of THE GREEN TRUNK) is an experienced part of Illinois' Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Program (MEEP) and is able to profile Process Energy and Shell energy for rate choices and increased productivity. |

THE GREEN TRUNK and Chapala Consulting evaluate prospective client's objectives and compatibility. We base a client relationship on continued consensus. This approach begins with an analysis of data and implementing a first-step, most effective solution. We then repeat the process by seeing the actual effect of the initial solution. This process is repeated until cost productivity is maximized.
Our work is confidential, objective, and performed to the best of our ability. We accept only work for which we are capable.
